How it works
Import one chat exported without media. WhatStats reads bracketed timestamps, sender names and message text, then asks you to confirm the matching date format.
Step by step
In WhatsApp on iPhone, open the contact or group info and choose Export Chat, then Without Media.
Share the TXT or ZIP with WhatStats. Select the date format matching the sample timestamp and start the analysis.
Check that the participant names and message counts match the exported conversation.
What to keep in mind
ZIP is a file container, not a guarantee that every export format is supported. Android text formats and WhatsApp Business exports have not been verified.
